Private Tours

We only run targeted one day basking shark tours as private bookings from very specific times of year and places. It's our most expensive trip given the time and distance involved and the largest boat we use.

We can run cheaper charters based on the lagoon tour where we spend some extra time searching. This would be just a prospective look, where we also find whales and dolphins, so think of it as a mixed wildlife day and hope you get lucky with sightings.

We do get good weather spells and lots of sharks around spring but it's too hard to predict and we can't get enough people last minute. If you think your group could work such a situation we are happy to discuss it.

Gear Hire

You can hire gear from us or bring your own if you intend to swim. You must let us know your suit size and shoe size at the time of booking or at least 4 weeks prior to your tour. This will be loaded on the boat prior to your arrival. If you need to change the size prior to the trip then please contact the office to do so with plenty notice (more than 48hrs).

Please look for the link to the highly important tour information sheet on your confirmation email once you have booked. This has all the specific travel, essential equipment and information you need. It's highly important you've read and understood this.

Payments 

The preferred method of payment is via bank transfer. The preferred method of payment is via bank transfer but you can use card payment via Rezdy during online booking process.
